Agreement

These terms apply to the iOS app WordSnail and to wordsnail.com, provided by Alpgiray Kelem ("we"). The app is licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement; these terms add to it. By using the app or the website you accept both.

The app

WordSnail helps you learn English vocabulary. Levels B1 to C2 are free. We may add, change or remove content and features. Illustrations are AI-generated and audio is generated speech; translations and definitions are prepared carefully but may contain mistakes. Please report them to alpgiraykelem@gmail.com.

Your account

You need an account (Sign in with Apple or email) to save progress. Keep your login details safe and do not share your account. You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Delete account.

WordSnail Premium

• Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly through your Apple Account.
• It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings.
• Premium unlocks themed decks without spending chips and a premium snail outfit. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
• Payments and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms; we cannot issue refunds ourselves.
• 7-day refund: if you are not happy, ask for a refund within 7 days of purchase at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple makes the final decision; we tell Apple that we support every refund requested within 7 days.

Chips

Chips are an in-app reward earned by learning. They have no cash value, cannot be bought, sold or transferred, and may be adjusted if they were obtained through a bug or misuse.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app or its servers: no automated scraping, reverse engineering of the service, attempts to access other accounts, or use that disrupts the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

Intellectual property

The app, its illustrations, audio, texts and the WordSnail name belong to us or our licensors. You may use them only inside the app for your personal learning.

Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it working and accurate but do not guarantee learning results or uninterrupted service. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages; nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will publish changes on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country. Questions: alpgiraykelem@gmail.com.
